After photographing weddings for nearly 10 years, I can't say I'd rather
a different job. It is a love of people and photography and intimacy
and celebrations and fun(!) all put together. I love catching a moment
or a sideglance and faithfully documenting my clients and their loved
ones in the most beautiful and authentic way possible, trying to
communicate how it might feel to be alive in the very second the
photograph captures.

Embracing the location and the weather is all part of the job and I strive to keep the day simple, fun and stress free. My goal is to capture amazing images that will stand the test of time. Rather than orchestrating them, I let the day unfold organically, constantly moving, engaging, observing, making portraits, playing with details and stealthily recording your wedding day with grace, creativity and respect. We work closely in the months before and spend quite a bit of time together on your wedding day. The result is a classic collection of art - a refined blend of sweetness, intimacy, authenticity and fun that will carry into the years after your wedding is said and done.

I've been blessed to photograph love from Switzerland to Tulum and I
absolutely love my job. I recently moved from California to Ann Arbor,
Michigan with my husband, our baby girl and our cat, still working regularly in California and in destinations beyond. My images have appeared in numerous magazines including Ceremony, Brides, The Knot, Martha Stewart Weddings, Town and CountryWeddings and on several high-end wedding blogs such as Style Me Pretty, Snippet & Ink, and Green Wedding Shoes.
